British wool slate blue lacy beret

Lovely stylish beret in slate blue. I have used soft Wensleydale British wool for this lovely ladies beret. Knit to my own design, with a subtle lace texture.

As usual I have hand-knit using needles "in-the-round" so there are no ugly or uncomfortable seams. To fit average adult head size 55-63cm and slightly stretchy for comfort. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.

I love working with the many different wools produced here from British breeds of sheep. The Wensleydale is from Yorkshire; it has long shiny, crinkly wool that looks like dreadlocks.
